The rack is 108x42cm in size and can fit any boot-lid between 100cm/39" & 135cm/53" in width. What's most impressive about this rack is the quality of the finish and the simple but very effective design the rack uses to attach to the boot lid. The rack has four feet that can swivel and simply clamp onto the edge of your boot-lid. The fixing points the feet attach too simply slide along the rails and like the fit are held in place with a bolt. The luggage racks feet are rubber coated to reduce the risk of any damage to your BMW's boot lid. These luggage racks are designed to carry a load of 20-25kg.

The Revo-Rack has been manufactured by us in the UK since 2016 it is made from 25mm T5 Aluminium & Magnesium tube and thus the frame only weighs 1.7kg. The design of this rack allows it to fit in under 90 seconds, no bolts, no brackets, no straps, no hassle & no paint damage : ever. We manufacture the rack in either a polished anodised finish which is similar to chrome, or a version that's powder coated black.

Revo-Rack has been independently tested by TUV Italy part of the global TUV testing and certification business. The rack went through speed, braking and force tests, to ISO 11154:2006 the international standard for car roof bars and the European Directive for general safety 2002/95/CE. Revo-Rack passed all these tests : It won't fly off !

The Revo-Rack uses vacuum cup technology it sits on three 115mm vacuum cups these are rated as being able to hold an 18kg load each. These can in theory hold a 54kg load. Vacuum cups are not the same as suction cups they are much much stronger and were developed in the late 1960's to hold film camera's to cars.

Vacuum cups employ the force of atmospheric pressure to grip a surface: When a vacuum exists between the cup and the surface on which it is attached, the weight of Earth's atmosphere holds the cup in place with incredible force.

Unlike suction cups that produce a vacuum as they pull away from the surface, Revo-Racks vacuum cups use a hand-actuated pump to efficiently remove air from between the rubber pad and the attaching boot/trunk lid thus creating a much more reliable hold. Because the full face of the pad is brought into contact with the boot/trunk lid, distortion is reduced, allowing the cup to be used with very little risk of damage.

If your 2 series has the small antenna on the boot the Revo-Rack still fits.

There are two sizes in the boot-bag range :

How boot-bags work : 

Stage one lay out the three straps in an H shape

 

Stage 2 place the soft anti slip fabric matting onto clean paintwork
Attach the 6 ends of the straps to the bag and pull tight, they just loop around the boot lid.
